Rotamarka™ mini warning markers have a 3D, rotating design that can be seen from any angle, providing an excellent visual warning of overhead power lines.

In the mining, construction and electrical distribution industries, accidental contact with power lines is all too common occurrence, causing serious injury or death as a result. In addition, these incidents can cause power outages and major asset damage.

The highly effective Rotamarka™ mini warning marker can prevent birds, low flying aircraft and industrial vehicles from accidentally coming into contact with power lines, which is a phenomenal contribution to safety innovation.

The 3D design rotates and agitates in even the slightest wind, while contrasting colours and in-built reflectors increase visibility in low light and dark conditions. As a result, the Rotamarka™ can be seen from up to 2kms by pilots.

Installation:

You can install the Rotamarka™ mini warning marker on power lines, cables, wires and conductors, using the Rotamarka install tool. It has an eye-ring fitting to work with standard live line tools, and can be installed from the ground using a shotgun or telescopic hot stick. The recommended tightening torque is 4Nm.

The clamp is universal and fits and range of conductors, opening and closing from 2 – 50mm. Moreover, the clamp’s soft jaws protect the cable, increasing grip to stop cable creep.
