Sicame CCW35E Tap Off Connector

Application

Sicame have designed the CCW series of Tap Off Connectors (TOC’s) for use on Australia’s utility networks where the mains is bare copper.

CCW series have been specially designed to provide a waterproof connection between insulated overhead services and bare copper mains. Electrical contractors and ASP’s can safely and easily install the CCW35E.

Mains Range – Bare Copper 7/1.00 to 19/3.00, 5.5 to 135mm2 (3-15mm OD)
Service Taps Range – Insulated PVC or XLPE Copper or Aluminium 2 x 6-35mm2
Two (2) Service Taps

High visibility shear-off identification tags

Installation Notes

Use only a 13mm, six-point hexagon socket to tighten bolts (ARS Code 02345).

All other connections made on the service and consumer’s cable must also be waterproof to prevent moisture ingress through the cable into the connector.
